MILWAUKEE (CBS) — A new addition to a south facet Milwaukee laundromat is supplying kids their very own corner. A new household “Study, Engage in, Understand” space was unveiled Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Blue Kangaroo on 29th and Greenfield Avenue.
The place is a lounge location for kids to commit time when their mothers and fathers do their laundry. “Now moms and dads do not have to fear about young children managing about. They have one thing to do and they’re safe and sound,” claimed Priscilla Perez, Blue Kangaroo supervisor. Perez is a mom herself and claims she understands how tough it can be for households of youthful children to get their laundry done within the facility and preserve monitor of their youngsters. She manages the 11th Street Blue Kangaroo place where by she says this thought is by now working. “We have mother and father donating points for the young ones to use,” she claimed.
Books in the place are bilingual and aim to assist youngsters culturally. Much more than 25 per cent of the publications will also go over money literacy.
